Getting Started

Who is required to use the Portal?

Anyone can use the Ghanalinks.org Portal. Currently, users of the portal come from various backgrounds and sectors. These include: USAID projects, Development Partners, Government of Ghana (MDAs), Private Sectors, Academia, Civil Society Organization, Non-Governmental Organizations, among others.

Do I have to register to use the Ghanalinks.org Portal?

Registration on Ghanalinks.org is optional; Users can view all features except the forum when not registered. However, registered Users will be able to subscribe to receive notification emails any time a document/resource material is added to the eLibrary. Additionally, events not visible to the public can be viewed by registered users.

Do I have to register/create another account if my email address changes?

No. If you have prior information of the change, you can log-in to your Ghanalinks.org account and edit your email address. Alternatively, you can send an email to the Ghanalinks.org Administrators via ghanalinks@metssghana.org or the Contact page for your account to be edited. Your email address is your unique ID. A second registration results in duplication and incorrect reporting data.

Can I download any material from the eLibrary even if I am not registered?

Yes, you only provide an email through which we can reach you with more information and resources if it becomes necessary.

How do I register on the Ghanalinks.org?

Click on the Join/Log-in Button and later on ‘Create Account’. You can also use the ‘Getting Started’ User Guide to go through the registration process.

What should I do if I forget my password?

Use the ‘Forgot Password’ to reset your password or refer to the ‘Getting Started’ User guide. If all fails, send an email to ghanalinks@metssghana.org for assistance.

Features on the Portal

Ghanalinks.org Database, District Profile Dashboard, Feed the Future Mapping tool and Poverty & Nurition Dashboard

Where can I find more information on the data in the database, dashboard and mapping tool?

The survey reports (e.g. Population-based survey – PBS, Agricultural Production Survey - AgProd, RING SPRING, etc ) are in the eLibrary.

How were the population data obtained?

The Ghana Statistical Services (GSS) growth rates were used to calculate the years after the last census in 2010. Therefore, the 2011 to 2018 data in the Ghanalinks.org Database are projected figures calculated using the growth rates. The Growth rates can also be viewed/downloaded from the Ghanalinks.org database.
